About
Welcome to Restoran Phad Thai, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Taiping, Malaysia. Located at 2a, Jalan Izzudin Shah, Kampung Asam Kumbang, this delightful dining spot is not just another Thai restaurant—it's a culinary adventure waiting to unfold. Offering an array of authentic dishes and a warm atmosphere, Restoran Phad Thai is quickly establishing itself as a go-to destination for both locals and visitors alike.
As you enter, you are greeted by a friendly staff dedicated to providing fast service and a memorable dining experience. Patrons have lauded their professionalism and attentiveness, setting the stage for your gastronomic indulgence.
The menu features an impressive variety of Thai delicacies that cater to diverse palates. The Tom Yam Campur stands out as a crowd favorite, bursting with bold flavors and generous portions of succulent chicken, real squid, and plump shrimp—qualities that elevate it above the average offerings found elsewhere. The Siakap Stim Limau has also garnered rave reviews, touted as the best in Taiping. Each dish reflects the restaurant’s commitment to authenticity and quality ingredients.
Value for money is another highlight of dining at Restoran Phad Thai. With reasonable prices like RM6.5 for a generous portion of daging black pepper, it’s hard not to feel satisfied with every ringgit spent. Fahmie Manap aptly summarizes the essence of this restaurant, stating it is “worth every money you spend.”
While the food shines, it’s worth noting that the parking situation may pose a challenge, as many customers have pointed out the limited space onsite. However, the delightful experience of dining within may well outweigh this minor inconvenience.
In a bustling city, Restoran Phad Thai stands as a tranquil retreat for lovers of Thai cuisine. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, your taste buds are in for a treat. Bring your friends and family, sit back, and let the staff guide you through a delicious journey of flavors!
“ The best Siakap Stim Limau I have tasted so far in Taiping. Their Siakap 3 Rasa for me is average, like most other Thai restaurants. I like their Tom Yam Campur so much. The flavours I would say are more than average compared to other Thai restaurants. They filled it with lots of chicken meat and squid (real squid, not the O-ring frozen squid), and about 3 pieces of shrimp. So my point is, they are not full of onion and lemongrass instead. I would say their service is great too. Based on my experience, it is not too long for your food to arrive. But probably this depends on what type of food you order too. Maybe if you ordered fried foods, the service could be a bit slow, I don't know. They have lots of tables, so it is easy to find your spot to sit. The waiter and waitress are all polite and helpful. You can ask them about the food if you don't have an idea what they are, they can explain. The thing that I don't like is their parking spaces. You will need to park either at the side of the main road, or at the small parking space they have inside. I feel it is not safe to park at the side of the road. But when they have lots of customers, the inside parking area is also packed with cars, which makes it not easy to maneuver our car to go in and out of that area. ”
“ Vary fast service, good food, good staff, reasonable price.. Worth every money you spend ”
“ Was our last minute choice, but turns out my simple meal of nasi putih + daging black pepper was really good. Considering the daging black pepper was RM6.5, the portion was generous. A really good thai restaurant ”
